However, despite the many strengths of the presentation, I felt that the use of incorrect tenses in some sections, such as in the summary, was a major flaw. Even though the presentation is not very formal, the use of correct tenses is essential in conveying the message effectively. If the group can correct this weakness then the presentation would be more effective (Dare, 2010). The presentation on how to purchase ethical chocolate is very informative. The presentation outlines comprehensively how chocolate sold in retail chains across the globe is a by- product of child slavery in Ghana. The agony experienced by the children is discussed in depth so that the audience can be educated on how to prevent this phenomena from occurring. One of the strengths of the presentation is its effective application of visual aids aimed at capturing the attention of the audience and also placing emphasis on the issue of child slavery.
